 I have been given task to take care of all operations of entire IT department. I managed overall software, hardware and network disciplines of the company. I designed IT policy framework for Relacom Pakistan. Approved, purchased and configured all IT inventories for Relacom Pakistan in all regions within country. I visited all around country to ensure stability of the IT infrastructure, ensured all Software License agreements, meet with vendors, present management of new trends and technology train staff for ERP usage and hired staff for IT department.  Designed and implemented Relacom Store Inventory System developed under oracle 6i and Oracle database 9i, design new reports using Report builder 6i and publish it via Oracle Application server.  Configure and maintain servers that includes, Relacom domain server based on Windows server 2003, configured Relacom proxy server using Microsoft ISA server 2004, configured Antivirus server using Symantec endpoint protection, configured Terminal server for ERP access, I deployed ERP system with software House that includes Microsoft Dynamics GP, XRM, web portal. I create new users and take care of system backup under Microst SQL Server.  I approved, purchased and configured mobile and Internet connections that includes (Evo, Blackberry, and ADSL), I installed and configured necessary WIFI routers, Access points, WIF printers, CCTV/DVR and various brand of cameras for different company’s offices.  I configured Active directory, FTP server and Terminal server deployed using Oracle Virtual box. Virtualization.  I provided end to end support for Telenor and Ufone call centers, the support included maintain Internet connection up and linked with Telenor Alarm generating servers, this connection based on static IP.  Setup Email on client’s machines, Blackberry and Iphone using Company’s Exchange settings, configured Microsoft outlook on user’s laptops and desktop machines.  Taking care of ERD and BPR, perform system analysis and generate functional requirement documents.  Taking care of coding, generating packages, procedures, functions, triggers etc. Implementing PL-SQL and SQL code.  Provide staff training of software, presenting demos to the management, present status reports to CEO for activity of IT department on periodic basis, developed policy framework for all IT operations, recommend and get approved SLA and necessary maintenance contracts.  Administer databases including Oracle and SQL Server. These involved creating and deploying new users, tables, packages, functions and procedures. Take periodic backups and perform rollback and recovery when required.

 Prepare budget, hired and allocated resources, defined task, followed up on schedules, made communication plans, trained IT & functional users, handled contentions and arbitration and followed external agency regulations on 24 hour basis to ensure smooth IT/IS governance.  Developed and implemented policy framework, guideline, procedures, SRS, SOP, etc for network and software implementations by vendors.  Managed network and software teams, also configured and managed wired and Wireless networks, design overall network cabling infrastructure and deployed it via CAT6 cable using standard color coding mode for CAT6.  Purchased, deployed and managed HP series Servers, RCG (RFID) biometrics Access controllers, server racks, HP series Laptops, CNB digital DVR along with Sony cameras, mostly 550 TVL and 600 TVL. Approved 3g usb devices, configured VPN connection, and provided online support to remote regions and shops distributed across UAE.  Configured Active directory/Domain server, FTP server, Oracle Database server, SQL server, Symantec Antivirus server, Oracle Application server and Microsoft access shared Database server, design WIFI system, designed and implement Nortel BCM 400 PABX system along with IP phones. Approved blackberry, Ipad and Iphone for staff, taking care of company’s POP email account and configured it on mobile and desktop devices.  I set up POS for connected with company’s central database at more than 150 outlets across Middle East region from scratch. Moreover I defined and implemented backup & disaster recovery plans.  I designed, implemented and maintained the following systems, A) Attendance & Payroll System developed under Oracle database 9i and Oracle developer 6i. B) Kudos Oracle EMIS system, which includes Inventory system, Sales and Purchase system and General Ledger. This ERP system is developed using oracle technologies. C) Diamond Jewelry software, that capable of managing jewelry inventory and its composition, track activities of jewelry design to comply with standards and produce colorful brochures for clients.  Manage weekly database backup for outlets, shops and factories, Perform database maintenance, and optimize queries, defined procedures that automate daily backups. Ensure 24/7 database availability. Using PL/SQL to handle external tables; perform ETL, perform data mining and record historical data for OLAP .Using Remote administration to troubleshoot various database issues.  Perform ongoing tuning of database instances. Put standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance. Install and update database components, Create users and roles. Create views, packages, procedures, functions and triggers using PL/SQL. Perform flashback operations to recover data. Using Dynamic SQL to perform DDL and DML inside PL/SQL.  Control migration of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle.

• To develop Database logical design (ERD) using ERVIN, use Forward engineering and Reverse engineering to convert logical design into physical design and vice versa. • To develop software using Oracle Developer as Front end and Oracle Database as backend. • I used Oracle Forms to design “Setup and operational forms”; I enrich my applications with interactive menus. I used PL/SQL packages, functions and procedures to implement business logic. I used PL/SQL database triggers to maintain database integrity. I use Report builder to create highly customized reports. • I was involved in the development, operations, updating and maintenance of various Projects, here is the list of my work, 1) Hospital Management system for KPT Hospital. 2) Blood Bank System for KPT Hospital. 3) IPOS (Integrated Port Operation System) 4) KPT Induction System (Recruitment Software) 5) KPT Fuel Management System. 6) Cash Advance and Payment Module for KPT Financial Software. .
