PAK ARAB REFINERY LIMITED (PARCO) PARCO is an integrated energy company, and is a key player in the Pakistan’s strategic oil supply and logistics. The organization encompasses Pakistan’s largest refinery with a refining capacity of 100,000 BPD, combined storage capacity of over one million metric tons and 2000 KM of cross country pipeline network, including its subsidiary PAPCO. ENGINEER PLANNING (MAINTENANCE & PROJECTS) • Develop detailed maintenance and project plans (Modification work, refinery shutdown, etc.) • Monitor master data on SAP and update tasklist, BOM, work centers, planner group on requirement basis. • Prepare and update annual maintenance/inspection plan on SAP and Oracle. TURN AROUND PLANNING • Prepare work packages during Pre-Turnaround phase for heat exchangers, distillation columns, vessels, flat bed reactors, centrifugal pumps, AFC’s, heaters, and other stationary and static equipments. • Prepare separate plan for critical TA jobs like catalyst unloading from reactor, blinding and de-blinding of equipments, Flare tip replacement job and refinery tie in. • Plan schedule for local/foreign material link with upcoming job. • Load work packages including resources in Primavera to create Network diagram/Gantt chart and Baseline S-Curve. • Prepare bid documents for turnaround service covering all areas from need assessment, selection of contractor, scope of work, list of jobs, special tool and machinery requirements, contingency plan and preliminary project plan on Primavera P6. BUDGET ESTIMATION & CONTROL • Estimate and forecast cost expenses for turnaround/modification jobs and prepare budget for approval. • Carryout Technical and commercial evaluation of TA Bids and other allied services. PRIMAVERA AND MS PROJECT • Analyze contractor’s preliminary schedule on Primavera and MS project. • Perform CPM and PERT analysis and develop Baseline S-Curve with and without resources for management reporting. • Analyze actual progress of work completed and perform loading of actual man-hours in primavera. • Carryout Earned Value assessment during execution and develop cost control reports. • Manage and save updates of baseline in primavera throughout the project. • Perform project crashing if necessary and monitor indirect cost associated with it. • Liaison with contractor for settlement of claims, bottle necks, non compliance and material rejection issues PROJECT PLANNING • Develop the Project Master Schedule for all the Projects of PARCO covering all stages of the project life-cycle i.e., Conceptual, FEED, Detail Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning. • Manages schedule and cost risk assessment sessions and develop risk simulation models to mitigate/monitor/manage project schedule risks. SAP POWER USER • Receive and assess notifications on SAP/Oracle and convert them to work orders for relevant field staff. • Create MR in SAP and Move Order in Oracle for issuance of stock material against Work Orders. • Develop/monitor/control the maintenance revenue and capital budget • Create Purchase requisition (PR) for critical spares in SAP MM module. • Create Service requisition (SR) and upload detailed BOQ in SAP MM module. MATERIAL COORDINATION FOLLOWUP • Frequently monitor and follow-up the procurement process of critical spares on SAP through Material Module. • Coordinate with materials department to ensure optimum inventory level of spares and consumables available in warehouse. • Resolve cost settlement issues in SAP during business completion of work orders and project closure in SAP. • Perform invoice verification against BOQs and contract agreement. • Prepare and gather data for quarterly presentation of departmental KPIs (Key performance indicators) HSE COORDINATION • Carryout incident investigation, risk assessment, Job safety analysis (JSA) and HAZOP study. • Prepare Daily project status report and fortnightly maintenance management meetings. • Coordinate with work executors and management to register lesson learned through workflow. AREAS OF EXPERTISE: • Planning and Control Management. • Troubleshooting of computerized maintenance management system SAP PM/PS Module and Oracle eAM. • Resource leveling and mediation to resolve conflicts during maintenance and projects. • Expert in project planning & scheduling on MS Project, Primavera P6 and SAP PS Module.
